This project, consisting of seven people, was founded by Tomas Corps and Thomas Find in 2010. Before joining Jess And The Ancient Ones, some members of the band were colleagues in another Finnish formation - Deathchain. The concept of the group's lyrics is based on the personal occult experience of the participants, and in combination with music it creates a unique mystical atmosphere. Also in creating this atmosphere, three guitars and excellent female vocals are very helpful. His first album, Jess And The Ancient Ones, was recorded at the Necromorbus studio, where Watane also usually works. As a result, in December 2012 their debut self-titled album was released, which is a 53 minute ride under moonlight to the underworld of progressive occult heavy rock. The album was well received by critics. Many publications in various countries have recognized Jess And The Ancient Ones as one of the best debuts of 2012. In 2013 the band released a mini-album "Astral Sabbat". Also on the title track, he made a video clip. The band often performs in their native Finland. In addition, in 2012 the band performed at the festivals Hammer Open Air Metal and Heavy Days In Doomtown. And in 2013 they visited Hell Over Hammaburg and Roadburn Festival.
