#TrueCrimeDocumentary #TrueCrimeNew #Crime #GhostofCrime Eva Blanco Puig, a 16-year-old girl from Spain, was tragically murdered in 1997. Born on February 17, 1981, she lived a peaceful life with her family in Algete, Madrid. Eva was known for her athleticism, responsibility, and warm-hearted nature. On April 19, 1997, Eva went out with friends, received permission to extend her curfew, but never returned home. Her worried parents reported her missing, but the initial response from authorities was dismissive. A frantic search ensued, and her body was found the next morning, brutally stabbed and sexually assaulted. The investigation faced numerous challenges, including a lack of forensic evidence and the mismanagement of initial search efforts. Despite this, Eva's family and community remained determined to find her killer. Over 18 years, countless individuals were investigated, and DNA evidence finally led to the arrest of Ahmed Chell, a Moroccan man living in France, in 2015. Chell's DNA matched the evidence found on Eva's body, but he denied his involvement. Chell's arrest provided some closure for Eva's family, but he took his own life in prison before facing trial. Eva's story highlights the pain of a community united in the relentless pursuit of justice for a young girl whose life was taken too soon. Thank you for watching the video.
