#After a trip to Port Lincoln, the local lads taught me a new way to catch squid — bottom bouncing for calamari — so of course I had to bring it back to the Team Justagirl crew and give it a go! Armed with a new clip I found online (my idea 😬) and a boat full of enthusiasm, we headed out thinking we’d be hauling squid over the side… but fishing always has other plans. The clip didn’t work, we lost a few squid jigs, the squid weren’t exactly jumping in the boat — but we did catch a few, laughed a lot, and learnt a new lesson the only way you can: by doing it.
