The two Koreas are marking 70 years since the start of the Korean War. At that time, Busan, South Korea's second-largest city, became home to millions of refugees. Many had wanted to flee as far south as they could to be safe from North Korea's aggression. Some fled to Ami-dong, a cemetery during the Japanese Occupation. The walls – and the foundation of the houses – were all made from tombstones since there were no other construction materials available at the time.
