At the Wienerberger Romania Berca Plant, SABO Heavy Clay team delivered a cutting-edge robotic handling solution that eliminates the use of conventional grippers and conventional dryer car loading & unloading mechanisms. In this production line all the positions for loading or unloading products, dryer frames and dryer cars have been implemented with the use of robots. The result is a flexible, productive and future-proof facility, capable of handling a wide variety of brick formats with minimal downtime. It’s worth noting that: For the first time, SABO Engineers, working closely with Wienerberger’s Engineering Department, decided to implement robots across every single station of the plant.
