Microtech Ultratech Initial Review: Tons of Cool, Limited Capability
Here's my initial review of the Microtech Ultratech, this one in gorgeous green hard anodized coating with the stonewashed drop point single-edged (S/E) blade. The Ultratech is the entry level out-the-front (OTF) automatic knife from Microtech. While its quality is pure Microtech, it lacks the refinement of the pricier models in the Microtech line, the Scarab, Troodon and Combat Troodon. While the Ultratech, and other OTF autos as well, are neither the perfect defensive platform nor great EDC blades, the UT makes up for its limitations in good old fashioned cool!
