This group was formed in 1993 when background singer Melanie Blatt, Shazney Lewis and Simone Rainford were put together by their record label and named All Saints 1.9.7.5. In 1995 Rainford left the group and the Appleton sisters Nicole and Natalie were added and the group-name shortened to All Saints. In mid-1997 their first single 'I Know Where It's At' launched them into the mainstream, scoring top 5 in the UK Charts. The following single 'Never Ever' brought them worldwide success, topping the charts in the UK and Australia, as well as Top 10 ranking in the USA, Canada, Sweden, France and other countries. Their debut-album 'All Saints' peaked at #2 at the UK album charts and became the 3rd best-selling album by an all-female group behind 2 Spice Girls lps. After a short break (with Melanie Blatt pregnant that time) they released their 2nd album 'Saints & Sinners' in October of 2000 and scored #1 in the UK album charts. The band broke up in 2001, but reunited in 2006 for a decent succesful album. They again disbanded but surprised their fans with a comeback album 10 years later: "Red Flags" reached the Top 3 in the UK album charts. Their latest album 'Testament' was released in 2018.
