I bought a 1970 Land Rover Series 2a from a farm clearing auction. It had been sitting in a field for many many years. The farmer had removed some key parts for his other Land Rovers. Animals had moved in and years of dirt had made it's way into the 4x4. No idea if it ran, or even if the engine turned over. It still has the original Land Rover series 4 cylinder motor and seems mostly original. As a Series 2a, it has the central metal dash, non synchro gearbox and metal grill, but with headlights in the guards.
