*A large part of the process to get the Plunder Blades is missing from this video, as when I first got to the area where the Grimalkyne spawns, it was just standing there. As it turns out, you actually need to wait for the roaming Odogaron to grab a Legiana corpse and drop it off in it's nest (the area where you will first encounter the Grimalkyne). The Legiana corpse is apparently not a guaranteed spawn, so you may need to reload the area a few times until one shows up. Or, you may just need to wait a while. If you load in at the Central Camp (11), when you jump down to the bottom after leaving the camp, you can usually bump into the Odogaron as it is leaving it's nest. DO NOT ENGAGE IT, as doing so MAY affect your chances of it grabbing the corpse. Personally, I tailed it until it got to area 3. At this point, I got bored and decided to fight it. After a little scrap, it ran away from me. From there, it ran to, and grabbed, the corpse (which spawned in area 6) and took it to it's nest. After the Odogaron leaves, the Grimalkyne will show up near the corpse in the Odogaron's nest. I hope this clears things up a bit.* Ever wished your Palico had some more utility? Well, here you go! My personal favourite is the Coral Orchestra. You more or less turn your Palico into a Hunting Horn user, complete with a large array of buffs. Although, the Plunderblade is great if you want that extra loot (and who doesn't?).
