These are the public elevators in the Hospital of Poitiers. I've witnessed these being modernized twice. First modernization in the late 2000s or early 2010s being a cab redesign very close to how it is now, and the second one being Compass Plus Upgrade. The service elevators also got modernized from classic Otis to Otis Compass several years before the public ones. These used to be always busy, overcrowded and stopping at absolutely every floor, which makes Otis Compass look like a miracle. However, it has some glitches from times to times like an indicator having a chime for a car that is not stopping, or a car not working but that the system doesn't detect as not working, which can completely block a destination..: For example, if you want to go to the 5th floor and the destination dispatch tells you to take "A" but "A" is not responding, you basically can't go the to 5 anymore, as it will always try to send "A" which is not responding ! I guess it's the downside of Destination Dispatch. This happened one or two times when I was there. People then give up and take stairs or a service elevator. Also the voice is confused. It said "going down" before the way up and "going up" before the way down. By the way, I stopped filming because some people came in. And I'm not very happy with this video's quality, so I may retake it later !
