Bear KZN sea conditions report Wahoo YFT Snoek Couta

 Hi peeps and welcome to another Bear report brought to you by Mydo bait swimmers. Well the diving and fishing during the week has been a little slow besides some shore anglers on the North getting some monster shad and ski fishermen getting the odd Croc Couta. However the weekend was a different story all together with some top conditions and Mackie's and Tuna around! With fish this week on spear we have Heath with a 17.3kg Couta Durban, Domz with a decent stringer of Snoek south, Master Bruce Brauteseth with a decent Wahoo Umkomaas and Trent Williams with a slab 8kg snoek! Aweh lad's! With fish this week on the rod (All4fishing) we have Kyle with a Wahoo and Couta off Durban, Ryan Pelser with two decent snoek Anstey Bluff, Jason with a 15kg Yellow fin tuna Durban, Jandre with two bomber Snoek in 23m off Umdloti and Remo with two Snoek paddling off Durban. Aweh lads lekker feeshies! We had a SW wind blowing today and it's dropped off completely now and left behind a calm sea however the SN current is onnit with sea temps between 25 and 26 degree C. North has greened up a bit with viz around 4m . Scottborough has cleaned up nicely with a few guy's paddling for fish there this afternoon. Saturday we have a moderate NE wind blowing looking set to startup early with swell at 1.8m and Sunday we have a light to moderate SW wind early bells giving way later to a light to moderate SE wind. Swell also around 1.8m. We have spring tides Wednesday next week with full moon on Tuesday. Tides tomorrow are low tide at 08h18 and high tide at 14h20. The last Natal spearfishing trials were held last weekend and I will be updating on this when the teams have been finalized next week. Oh and crayfish season opens up on Sunday....yay!
