This is the ninth car in the Lego Speed Champions F1 series So I am nearly finished building the entire F1 series, i have to admit that I’m really enjoying building these cars. It’s great to see the variety of building techniques involved and the liveries for each car are really good. I have started looking at how i can improve the cars, but for now it’s just been around the front wing. Let me know that you think of that change, I will most likely to the same for them all. Coming back to the build and review of this one as it is, After finishing second the last in 2024, Williams are reaching for the star in 2025, lets hope that Carlos gets a clean race this weekend. The car looks good and the colour scheme seems a bit more accurate than some others (Aston Martin were looking at you) As I mentioned I will create an overall rating for each car once i have built them all but i do a quick comparison against the first eight at the end of the video, so stay tuned for that. These are the factors I’m using to rate each car; Decoration (stickers and printed elements), Brick built design elements, robustness (do bits fall off? (McLaren we looking at you this time), piece count, build complexity, number of building steps, smoothness (whether studs are showing etc.) and overall appearance. Of course these may change by the time I make the video. The Williams is on the lower end of the decorations with a total of 48 (32 stickers and 16 printed elements including the 8 for the tyres and hubs and three for the minifig), so it better than the Alpine but not by much. The number building steps is however better at 105, the third highest so far. There are some really nice design elements to this build, but it is let down in a couple of areas, which brings it down the list a little. Just the Kick Sauber left to build. That should be interesting as we can compare it against the CADA version which is surprizingly good. Look forward to hearing what you guys think. Hope you enjoy the video. Until next time happy building
