Caesar & Will - See You Again (Planet of the Apes)

This music video features the song See You Again by Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Pruth set the modern Planet of the Apes Trilogy. The primary focus of the video is the relationship between Caesar & Will. The video opens with Caesar in a near death situation, in War for the Planet of the Apes. As the scene depicted demonstrates Caesar shot by an arrow, and approached by an Alpha-Omega soldier intent on killing him. The idea is that the video is Caesar reflecting on his memories with Will, right before he thinks he’s about to die. The secondary focus of the video is Caesar’s relationship with Malcom (in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes), Nova and Red (both in War for the Planet of the Apes). As Caesar also reflects on his bond’s with these characters, as he faces his last moments. The video also depicts Red’s redemption. The opening scene of the video shows Red witnessing Caesar about to die. The video circles back to this moment, just before the final chorus, as Red decides to save Caesars life, and sacrifices himself in the process.
