Watch our Ouray Perimeter Trail Review! The Ouray Perimeter Trail is a 5.8 mile loop trail in Ouray, Colorado. The trail is a bit unique in that it actually combines and connects many different trails to create one large “perimeter” of the town. Officially the Perimeter Trail starts across from the visitor center at the north end of town. However, because it is made of interconnecting trails there are seven different access points from trails around town. After quickly ascending up into the impressive San Juan Mountain Range, the Perimeter Trail rewards hikers with magnificent views of the town below. There are several main attractions along the hike including Cascade Falls, Baby Bathtubs, Ice Park Reservoir, and Box Cañon.
