Hello everyone! I’m very proud to present my village for this year. Personally, I think it’s my most beautiful village ever. Part of the village is inspired by Paris, a tribute to the many trips I’ve taken to the City of Love with my fiancée. The Sacré-Cœur with its steps, the carousel, and the winding paths are instantly recognizable. Another reference is the park with its little hedges, inspired by the Tuileries near the Louvre. A third Parisian touch can be found in the flowers above Wesley’s Pub, reminiscent of the many cafés in Paris decorated with floral displays above their windows. Finally, the tree-lined avenue is a subtle nod to the famous boulevards of the city. The second part of the village is a large ski area. The tall railway bridge immediately draws attention. It was inspired by our Christmas trip to the “Ravennaschlucht,” and I’m especially proud of this handcrafted bridge! I hope you enjoy the video and the accompanying music!
