In today's video I am working on restoring the hair of my 1991 Felicity Merriman American Girl doll. Her hair was cut by a previous owner, but I decided to keep her original wig because it is authentic to the early Pleasant Company dolls. You can even see the original wig stitching underneath her hair, which I love preserving when restoring these vintage dolls. Instead of replacing the wig, I carefully restyle the front pieces and add some gentle curls to help frame her face while still keeping her original character and history intact. After fixing Felicity's hair, I also share my historical American Girl doll collection and flip through a 1997 American Girl catalog.
