We just stayed here, 9/22/22-9/24/22, the hottest month of the year. We chose here because their site listed AC. After a day of traveling, we arrived and found out that the a/c is only available from 9pm-6am, an important piece of information I overlooked on the website. Their website has two pages w/ prices. One is updated, one is not. This was sorted out via text through WhatsApp before our stay. They were very responsive via text, not so much via email. We stayed in bungalow Calibri. The patio has a hammock, table w/ chairs, drinking water, ice chest, water pitcher and cups. Ice is available upon request. The room had two beds, one end table, small armoire and first aid kit hanging on the wall which was nice to know it was there. The bath room had shampoo, conditioner and two bath towels were provided in the form of towel art on the bed. There were no hand towels or wash clothes. The water is trucked in for the town so water is considered gold there. Don't flush unless you need to and definitely don't flush any paper products down the toilet. Signs say paper towels but please don't take that literally, you shouldn't be flushing any toilet paper. Everything was clean but being out in the middle of nowhere, there are bugs. Found a couple of a cucarachas in our room. Adds to the experience. The location is perfect, right next to "downtown" and within walking to everywhere. Not to over emphasize, if you go in a hot month, the room is almost unbearable during the day. There is a portable fan to use but they prefer you do not use the overhead fan due to being on solar only. Keep lights off during the day. Cabo Pulmo is a special place, completely powered by solar for their power and trucked in water. The people of this town, struggle daily to save power when possible, dependent on solar energy to supply their daily needs. This is a place to get away and reset. Swim in the ocean, visit the pool at the dive resort (buy a drink at the resort, use the pool), lay out in the hammock.
