Our second car is the Hooly Wheely, a fun Hot Wheels-lookin' thing. All the unlockable cars are more or less just an upgrade in speed with a bit less durability as a trade-off, so this spot is basically going to just be for my personal ramblings on each of them, haha. 0:00 2/1: Rallye I assume this is just a misspelling of 'ralley'. Like 1/1, it's a simple "get to the end" course, but with some sharper turns to put your driving to the test. Most notable, though, is this is our first introduction to the aliens! See that flying saucer with the green dude inside that whizzes past near the start and finish? Yep, that's one of them. They'll be important later. I mean, not really, this game doesn't have a plot at all. But there's more missions about them. 1:08 2/2: Bomb A (rather rude) intro to the cargo mechanic and the cranes that you use to load and unload them, this mission sets you to deliver a bomb to the other side of the industrial complex. This would be easy, but its fuse lights as soon as the crane grabs it. Typical. If you take too long, it'll explode, stripping you down to one hit point! You can double back and grab another one after, but really, just restart at that point, since running into ANYTHING will destroy you in that state. This is also the only instance of layout reuse in the main campaign, using the same course as 1/3. 2:21 2/3: Silly Robots Someone left the master computers on too long, and now the robots they control are going haywire! It's up to you to go and reset them, but how to get over the fence? Enter my personal favorite type of cargo, the propeller! This one actually changes your movement, letting you soar through the air like an eagle piloting a blimp from any jump. The only caveat is you can't control your trajectory at all once your wheels leave the ground, so you'll need to watch your speed to make sure you don't overshoot, especially with faster cars. 6:07 2/4: Against the clock See, I told you it'd be a recurring thing. This one's pretty compact, with tight turns basically requiring you to use the handbrake to make them in one piece. Looks like you're not the only ones who've noticed the aliens flying around, either...
