Rottnest Island, Western Australia Site : Bridges Min Water Temp : 18 Max Water Temp : 19 Visibility : 10-12m Observations : Dive : IJ#2100 Location : North Rottnest Island, Western Australia Site : North Point Min Water Temp : 18 Max Water Temp : 19 Visibility : 12-15m Observations : ABOUT THIS FILM A calm, real-time record of a dive day exploring the two reefs on the North side of Rottnest Island and my 2,100th dive since I started in Wales, UK in 1992. Recent dive day on Blue Destiny with 2 good mates Dr.C and Adele. Deep diving day to a site called the Bridges and North Point. The day was OK but a bit cold as it was August, (still the middle of winter in the Southern Hemisphere) in previous years I rarely did more than one or two shore dives from June through Sept/Oct and then in a thick two piece, this year I thought I'd continue diving Rottnest through the winter, but only had my one piece and a sharkskin. Wasn't too bad about 18 to 19C and improved when I started using a hood. The End of the film is a montage of Stills photos from the dive. Some of these stills slideshows are being edited into a series of standalone movies in a series we call "BLUE PLATES" - Look out for them.
