My dog friendly Scotland road trip with my dad and my dog Max! This is Max’s first holiday away from home, we done just over a weeks travelling around some of beautiful Scotland! Day 1 - Edinburgh : Some of the places mentioned in the video - Edinburgh castle: This one you can not enter with a dog, but they are welcome on the grounds outside the castle gates to see it from the outside. Royal mile: Walking along the royal mile is dog friendly, though quite busy most of the day so be warned about trying to walk through the foot traffic. What I did love is most of the shops along here were dog friendly, meaning they could join us browsing round most shops! Arthur’s seat: Dog friendly, it took us just over an hour to climb to the top. Some of the paths are quite rocky and some steps abit steep. So be warned for dogs with littler legs, they may need carrying up the last part of the trail. The view from the top was definitely worth it and going back down was much quicker. Camera obscura: Very dog friendly, not many people know about this one. Dogs are allowed in all parts of this attraction! Staff were very friendly and handed out dog treats at the start. Spaces are quite open so room to move around, but on busier days could get abit more difficult. Make sure they go to toilet before entering as you can be in there a couple hours at least and no where for them to relieve themselves. But staff did offer to bring water bowls if needed for a drink. 💛 My Instagram - / chloelouise7_ 🐶 Max’s instagram - / maxthatgoldendoodle
