To protect the privacy of the children we serve, Monica's story is a blend of real client experiences. The Center for Child Protection is a nationally accredited children’s advocacy center located in Austin, TX and the only nonprofit in Travis County involved in the investigation and prosecution of crimes against children. The Center provides forensic interviews, therapy, education, and medical services to children who have experienced physical or sexual abuse or who have witnessed a violent crime.
