The Land Ports Authority of India is celebrated its 10th Foundation Day on 17th March 2022 in the presence of The Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah. To commemorate the occasion, the Authority made a short audio-visual film on the role and importance of Land Ports in facilitating secure, seamless and efficient movement of cargo and passenger across India’s land borders and showcasing the milestones achieved by the Authority in the last ten years. This movie Showcase the commitment of LPAI in building land ports on India’s borders and to provide secure, seamless and efficient systems for cargo and passenger movement Create awareness about the state-of-the-art infrastructure facilities put in place by LPAI to facilitate cross-border trade and travel Highlight the success story of LPAI in enabling greater trade volumes, facilitating passenger traffic, reducing dwell time and trade transaction costs and efforts to imbibe the best international practices in the last ten years Underscore the importance of border agency cooperation and coordination synchronised by LPAI to facilitate trade and passenger movement and Exhibit the human impact created by LPAI through its efforts and initiatives.
