I perform 20 Rep Breathing Squats with 200 pounds in my gym, The Dungeon. Noticed, this is the way it was taught by Steve Reeves. That is take 1 breath per rep for the first 5 reps, then 3 breaths for each rep of the next 10 reps, and finally 5 breaths for each rep of the last 5 reps. You of course don't have to be strict about the breathing. These are guidelines only. If you need to breathe more, then do so. I can tell you, this is tough. The first 5 reps look easy, and to be honest they are. The next ten begin to test your mind, when I was already at the tenth rep mark, I swear I wanted to rack the bar. By the 15th rep, my back was SCREAMING, my wrists and elbows felt like they were going to snap, my legs were shaking, but my mind kep t saying just keep going, BREATHE AND KEEP GOING. I did it at the end, its a real ball busting work out. Always try to follow this with pullovers. My video cut out accidentally so you dont see me do them. Enjoy
