Keep EXCEL-LENT chicken records! And know the true cost of eggs!

I often advise people to keep excellent records about their chickens. I use Excel to record many details about my chickens, including daily and annual number of eggs laid by each hen, and all expenses, including both running expenses and one-off costs such as capital set-up, and buying and selling chickens and fertile eggs. So it's easy to see how many eggs each breed of hen is really laying, and how much it really costs me for those yummy eggs.
