Today we're going to show you how to download and install the Power-Pole App before running diagnostics on your Power-Pole MOVE trolling motor. Use this procedure to make sure your Power-Pole MOVE continues to perform at its absolute best. To download the Power-Pole App and connect to your MOVE trolling motor: 1) Open up the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) 2) Type 'Power-Pole' in the search bar 3) Select the Power-Pole App 4) Click on 'Install' 5) Once installed, open up the Power-Pole App • Make sure to select 'Allow' to let the app find the nearby Power-Pole product(s) you intend to connect to. 6) Login to your Power-Pole.com account or click 'Use Guest Account' **Creating/Using a Power-Pole.com account is highly recommended 7) Select 'Add Boat' 8) Select 'MOVE' 9) Select your device, and then click 'Connect' (e.g. "PP-Move654B") 10) Using your remote, please complete initial Security Confirmation • Make sure the MOVE wireless remote is within 3ft of your MOVE unit • Press & hold both LEFT & RIGHT steering buttons together to complete the Security Confirmation 11) Congratulations - you are now connected to your Power-Pole MOVE How-To Check for MOVE Firmware Updates: 1) Open up the Power-Pole App 2) Select 'Updates' in the bottom right corner of the app 3) Click on the big orange 'Check' button to check for updates 4) To apply available updates, CLICK the orange button beneath 'Apply updates to Accessories now?' 5) Follow all instructions on the 'Accessory Updates Activated' screen • NOTE: Accessories must be powered on and awake to receive updates 6) Once updates are completed, you will see the 'Accessory Updates Finished' screen. Click 'OK' to proceed 7) Congratulations - you have successfully checked and updated your firmware How-To run diagnostics on your Power-Pole MOVE trolling motor: 1) Select 'Diagnostics' at the bottom of the screen within the Power-Pole App 2) Click 'Run Diagnostics' 3) After about 30s, click on 'STOP' 4) Select 'Email Diagnostics' 5) Select your preferred outbound email provider 6) Once you've selected your email provider, the send-to address should have been automatically filled in, but in the event • NOTE: If it did not autopopulate, send your diagnostic results to our tech support team here: 'support@power-pole.com' 7) Please provide us with your first name, last name, and a good phone number to contact you back at 8) A member of our tech support team will reach out to you as soon as we receive your diagnostic. 9) Congratulations - you've successfully performed a diagnostic on your MOVE trolling motor.
