元華 YUEN WAH And His INCREDIBLE Skills 🔴 Hong Kong Kung Fu Cinema 容繼志

Yung Kai-chi, born September 2, 1950 in Hong Kong, attended the China Drama Academy, a Peking opera school in Hong Kong, during the 1950s and 1960s. He was a student of Master Yu Jim Yuen and He was part of the group known as the Seven Little Fortunes, along with other students such as Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung, Yuen Biao, Yuen Qiu and Corey Yuen. Like his classmates, he adopted his teacher's name, "Yuen." According to Jackie Chan's biography, Yuen Wah's martial arts skills were highly respected among his peers. After leaving opera school, many of these students entered the Hong Kong film industry. Yuen Wah was given the anglicized stage name Sam Yuen, but, like Yuen Biao (Bill Yuen/Jimmy Yuen), he did not use it. Rather than revert to their original names, both kept the names acquired at the opera school, as did several other former students.
