RACE REPORT CLUB100 LIGHTWEIGHT SPRINT CHAMPIONSHIP - R.3 - Glan-Y-Gors Heat 3 - P13 to P13 Heat 5 - P1 to P3 Heat 7 - P7 to P13 B Final - P5 to P7 Overall in Class 2 - 20th New track for me to race on and did quite well considering. Heat 3, I was still learning the track so I just kept going and managed to stay where I started. Heat 5, well that was amazing and didn't expect that. Just got behind the C1 drivers and put my head down and chased, felt like I've learnt the track more and I'm extremely happy. Heat 7, well to me the kart didn't want to turn right and the back end had hardly no grip, didn't feel like the other two karts I'd had and so i fell back a few positions. Which was a shame after having such a fab previous heat and knowing I can be further up the grid, however this happens and I know I did my best. Qualified into final B and quite high up, which was awesome. First lap I got pushed onto the grass and did a bit of, off roading. Managed to keep hold of it and joined back onto the track in 8th place luckily. I had a good battle throughout. It could of been a lot worse so I'm extremely happy with the end result as being my first visit to this track. It's an epic track and would like to go back to learn it more but it's 4 hours away!!
