Rare and special: Piaggio P.166C at ILA Berlin 2018

Among all the latest airliners, helicopters and fighter jets, you find on a big Air Show like ILA Berlin, a small, twin-engined plane doesn't really stick out, especially so when it's some decades old already. The Piaggio P.166 on the other hand, with its gull-wing configuration and it's pusher propellers, certainly does! With little more than 150 units built and the majority of them having been used by Italian military and other state agencies, I think it's safe to call the P.166 rare. With that said, I guess it's easy to see why I was excited to have the chance to capture a flying display of one of those!
