The naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 (called the M156 internally) in the E63 produces 518 horsepower and 476 ft/lb of torque. Built from the ground up by AMG, it was the successor to the much-loved M113K that was in the E55. The M156 was a high revving race engine that had its issues, but over time it has proven to be a favorite amongst Mercedes enthusiasts.
