A playthrough of Jaleco's 1988 NES game, City Connection. The game has no ending, and loops after the sixth round. I played until round eleven before tapping out. City Connection is a surprisingly accurate port of the 1985 arcade game. This was a title I recall once renting as a kid, and after about an hour on Friday night, it got set down and not touched again until it got returned Sunday. I figured that I'd revisit it and hopefully come away with a different opinion of it now nearly three decades later. I didn't. Sorry if you were hoping for some insight, but I just really dislike this game. It's too simple and the controls suck. Give me any black box game over this one, please! There is a sequel, City Connection Rocket, but I haven't played it. Anyone have any thoughts? _____ No cheats were used during the recording of this video.
