This video shows the finger splicing of a baler belt with the patented vulcanizing material Multiface® and an aramid scrim fabric. Multiface® generally achieves an excellent adhesion to rubber, without any solvent as ingredient and without any preparation with any solvents and adhesion promoters, due to the same chemical cross-linking as in hot vulcanization. Therefore, the job can be carried out in almost all weather conditions, in summer in direct sunlight when the belt is very hot or in winter below the dew point, or drizzle or snowfall. In most of the cases, the belt is ready for use after less than 2 hours at +23°C / 73°F, or less, even at temperatures below 0°C / 32°F, by using a heating source to accelerate the curing. The aramid scrim fabric is available in various strength class and provides the required flexibility to accept very small pulley diamter like in the case of baler belts, but also in underground mines etc. Look closely at the details that show the best application practice determined after many dynamic tests and practical applications. Like all products of the company Hejatex, Multiface® does not content any solvents, VOC, CMR and toxic ingredients. This ensures an exceptional high level of safety for people, transport and storage. This is an amateur film and does not have the claim of completness. For more information, visit www.hejatex.com
