Dave shares what he’s learned from years of working with the homeless in Lancaster—including the emotional and psychological transition that happens when someone first hits the streets. Within two weeks, most people shift from trying to escape homelessness to learning how to survive within it. For many, this becomes their new community—not because it’s ideal, but because it’s the only one welcoming them in.
