Today I spent the day exploring Grayson Georgia to learn more about 55+ communities and what living in one might be like. I visited the Aspen Grove community and spoke with a local agent about the HOA rules and age restrictions for residents. While I was in the area, I also walked through a brand new five bedroom home by Meritage Homes, which raised an interesting question. If you are in your 50s, would you prefer a large family home or a smaller low maintenance home in a 55+ community?
