GWH have released the Russian Beast - the Su-35 Flanker-E in 1/48 scale. It's an intimidating kit which comes in a big box with a lot of plastic, and sub-par instructions. However, in terms of fit and detail it is a masterpiece and highly recommended! I used an AKAN custom Su-27/35 acrylic paint set as the Russian Air Force colours are pretty subtle and easy to get wrong. The spray oddly with a pronounced tendency to pool and a grainy texture. However, that said they actually dry to a nice thin finish although it is rather fragile. Music is El Dorado from Two Steps from Hell. I claim no copyright.
