Back in May/June 2024 I spent 14 days driving around the USA visiting amusement parks each day and riding 120 roller coasters! Our route took us from Boston airport in a loop, up through New York State to the shores of the Great Lakes, west to Wisconsin and back down through Indiana, Ohio, Pensilvania and back to Boston to complete the loop This video is Day 8 and our first visit to Indiana Beach, Monticello, Indiana. Set on the watery shores of Lake Shafer this unique amusement park has a classic collection of flat rides and interesting line up of quirky roller coasters including All American Triple Loop, Hoosier Hurricane, Cornball Express and The Lost Coaster of Superstition Mountain. I’ll share my thoughts, feelings and first time reaction to this theme park and its roller coasters sharing some tips and tricks along the way to help you plan your own visit to the park.
