NEW Lamborghini Sian 2021 review: does it preview the V12 hybrid Aventador?

Remember when everyone said V12 engines were dying out and that soon we’ll all be driving electric supercars? Well, nobody told Lamborghini. Its latest £2m hypercar, the Sian FKP 37, still comes with a glorious naturally-aspirated V12 engine, providing one of the greatest exhaust sounds of all time. So far, so Lamborghini. But the Sian is different. Joining the Aventador SVJ-sourced V12 is a hybrid system based around a supercapacitor, a type of energy store that the firm claims can store ten-times the amount of energy as a regular lithium-ion battery. Only Lamborghini could make hybrid technology sound so cool.
