How do I set the PSD-4 electronic pressure switch correctly? In this video we explain how to mount, electrically connect and subsequently commission the model PSD-4 electronic pressure switch correctly. For the mounting you will need: ⭕ Sealing ring ✔ Sealing material for sealing tapered threads 🔧 Torque spanner The pressure switch must be sealed with a sealing ring or, in the case of a tapered thread, with sealing material. The PSD-4 can then be screwed into the process connection by hand. It must then be tightened with a torque spanner via the spanner flats. Before connecting the electrical cable, please check the ingress protection class of the pressure switch and the mating connector. You can find the pin assignment on the product label. 🔵 Display mode You can display the corresponding values by pressing the buttons. You can display all the settings for the pressure switch by pressing and holding down the Info button. 🔴 Programming mode You can access the programming mode of the PSD-4 by pressing and holding the Menu button. Here, the switching functions, switch points, reset points and delay times can be set. You can also perform a zero point setting on the PSD-4. By pressing the Menu button, you can access the individual settings, and pressing the Info button accesses the menu items in reverse order. Pressing the Enter button accesses the configuration of the displayed menu item. The values can now be increased via the Menu button or decreased via the Info button.
