The Pre-Existence of Christ is a foundational doctrine in Christianity. It’s widely considered an unquestionable truth that cannot be challenged. This unchallengeable doctrine teaches that Jesus Christ existed before His Divine conception by the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary as either some form of a spiritual being, like an angel, as the Pre-Incarnate Son of God, or most commonly, as God the Son, which is 1/3rd of the Trinity. This belief in the Incarnation of Jesus Christ is rooted in Christian theology, one that, when challenged, often leads to fierce resistance from those who hold this doctrine to be absolute truth—throughout my time studying scripture and pondering whether or not this doctrine is true. I’ve concluded that Scripture doesn’t teach that Jesus Pre-Existed His birth. Instead, I’ve realized that this doctrine is nothing more than another religious tradition that stubbornly clings to the minds of billions worldwide. While this belief is widely accepted in mainstream Christianity, its popularity does not guarantee its truth. As I'm sure most of you watching this are aware, mainstream Christianity gets a lot of its core doctrines wrong, such as Eternal Conscious Torment, Man’s Free Will, the Immortality of the Soul, and, of course, the Trinity. This blunder on the part of Christianity getting almost all its core doctrines wrong, regardless of the denomination, led me to question the Pre-Existence of Christ. I’m not going to blindly accept this doctrine as truth when most if not all, others taught by modern evangelicals are wrong. Popularity does not equate to truth. And if you have to use the Fear of disfellowshipping the people who question it as a defence of this doctrine, that, to me, is a sign of its falsehood. All doctrines should be scriptural sound, not forced on you and told to accept it without question. I’m not interested in joining a religion, nor do I want to be a member of a cult led by some charismatic leader who forces his unscriptural beliefs onto its members. We must do what the Bereans did and examine the scriptures daily to discover if man’s traditional stance concerning this topic is true or false. #jesuschrist #trinity #preexistence #jesusisgod #unitarian
