Prasar Bharati Archives presents Tribes of India series. Kabui Tribe One of the indigenous tribe of Manipur, Kabui tribes shared very good relations with other community like Meitei, Pangals. They are also settled in every nook of eastern and western regions of Imphal, the capital city of Manipur. Their houses are built in parallel rows in north to south direction. The traditional dress of Kabui male is a full or a half sleeved shirt and a dhoti known as Khudai. Ting Gwang is a major deity worshipped by them.The staple food of the Kabuis is rice.
