Check out the channel for more GG Allin content! brought GG Allin to Tampa Florida in July of 1991, with the intent on making a country album with him. We completed that task and Carnival Of Excess was officially created. In addition, we did a lot of other work that week. We did interviews, photoshoots, in-store appearances (at Alternative Records) a lot more. It was a busy week. This interview was conducted and filmed at the University of South Florida, in Tampa. I was going to school there at the time. This interview is somewhat brief, but pretty cool, as GG was in a decent mood and was receptive to answering questions. Sometimes GG didn’t like being interviewed, so on this occasion, I was stoked to see him open up a little bit. It was fortunate that GG didn’t get caught prowling around the theatre dressing room hunting for “souvenirs” that day.
