It is 33 km south of the provincial capital of Edmonton and is part of the Edmonton Metropolitan Region. Alexandra Park is located just off 50th St right, adjacent to the Civic Centre and beside the Alexandra Outdoor Pool and Spray Park. The parks has picnic tables, a playground, and a fountain, the park is also a popular place in the winter, when the trails are lit up and the pond is cleared for skating and pond hockey.
