If you're following the Wwise 101 lessons, you might run into an issue in the "Generating a Soundbank" section where the Cube game does not properly trigger or call the IceGem_Blast event. This video should help, but in short here is the solution: 1. If you've deleted all of the contents within ".../Cube/cube/soundbanks", as instructed to do earlier in the tutorial, you will need to create a new folder within soundbanks that matches the Platform name you are generating for. For example, ".../Cube/cube/soundbanks/Windows" 2. In the Soundbanks layout, under User Settings, select "Override Project SoundBank Paths" and use the ellipsis (...) to select this new Platform folder 3. Proceed with the tutorial (click Generate Selected, close the Cube game, run the Cube game again) and it should work as expected! I did not figure this out on my own, but having to search through many forums and questions online, figured I'd make something to help others out. For more information about Wwise, or support, I recommend visiting Audio Kinetic's site and looking through the Wwise 101 lesson.
