GonThong was separated from her mother when very young—a very traumatic experience for both. She wasn’t able to bond with other elephants, which for an elephant depletes all meaning from life, being extremely social animals. Happily, she now has a new start in life at Elephant Nature Park where she is free to make friends and join a herd. She has already found new friends in Vana and DaoThong. Today, we see these three elephants enjoying each other’s company—bonding while exploring and playing together in their loving forever home.
