[Joe] What's our baby's name??? We've been taking our time looking for a suitable name for the baby. We’ve considered basically all names (even trying out Asparteminia Antarctavius!) and I think we have something now. A name is such a defining attribute. In Korean, the family name is written first, then the personal name. In America, we use our personal name, and then what we call the last name. Back in the day, you could tell the class and even the profession of a person based on the family name.. kind of like the crest or flag compared to the europeans. Reputation and honor of the family was more important than any individual, so it makes sense. Your family name brought pride and purpose. How does it contrast to modern day’s naming order? I’ve wondered.. when we reach Heaven.. what will my name be? What would it even sound like? Would it still be Joe? Would it be my korean name? (lol) Would it be a sound? Either way, for God to give me a name in Heaven would mean everything. It would mean He knows me, and had not rejected me.
