Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer faces Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch at PMQs in the House of Commons. It comes shortly after Chancellor Rachel Reeves delivered a major speech on growth, including the expansion of Heathrow Airport. Ms Badenoch points out the chancellor objected to airport expansion in her Leeds constituency back in 2020 - she then asks Sir Keir to drop the Employment Rights Bill. Her argument is: "You can't tax your way to growth, you can't borrow your way to growth. Wealth creators are fleeing Britain in droves." The PM replied saying: "They broke the economy, completely destroyed it; they broke the health service, ruined us on prisons, and everything else you could mention. They're in no position to give us lectures on anything."
