Borth, a coastal village 7 miles north of Aberystwyth on the welsh coast. Hopefully my video technique will improve after this video, sorry about the fast panning. They say of Borth that it’s like Marmite; you either love it or hate it. It’s a very popular holiday destination with a huge influx of visitors in the holiday season but there’s also a very friendly full time resident population who love the place. I’ve talked to quite a few of the local folk and they really do love the place. I’ve been surprised at the number of folk that I’ve talked to who were born in Borth and then they have moved away for a while but they have come back as they love it so much. In this video I show a bit of the village along the main road and some of the back of the houses looking that look out to sea. Personally I like Borth there’s a dramatic change in the place as the holiday season switches on and off. One day the roads and beach will be packed with happy holiday makers and the next day you can have the beach to yourself. As I’ve said before in these videos I'm not setting out to tell you anything significant about an area, I'm just sharing a few glimpses into places that we go to when we’re ‘out-and-about.’ Again I apologise for my rapid panning technique, I know I should know better, and I know it doesn’t help walking whilst videoing. I will try and get better but I’d already shoot this and another video (Newport) before I really realised how poor my technique was. Maybe I'll revisit and shoot again but boy it takes forever to upload these videos (three days on and off for this one). Thanks for watching. Kind Regards . . . Andy.
