Embarkation Day on the Carnival Pride to Greenland and Canada #greenlandcruise #carnivalcruises #carnivalpride #mannsadventures Join us on the Carnival Pride as we port out of Baltimore, MD for a Journey Cruise to Greenland and Canada (May 26, through June 9, 2024). This cruise turns out to be what some has called the "Cruise to Nowhere" as we miss our first three ports of call being, Nanortalic, Qaqortoq, in Greenland and St. Anthony, in Canada. Our cruise ended up having ten straight seadays being the longest days without a port for a Carnival Cruise Fun Ship according to Captain Vito. He also mentioned this cruise had set a record for most consecutive days sailing in fog for the fleet as well. The Carnival Pride had one last first for a cruise ship as it was the first ever Carnival ship to sail through the Arsuk Fjords in Greenland. We were given breath taking views of the tidewater glaciers, waterfalls, and icebergs. The ship made it to an abandoned mine town before turning around and heading back to sea in the snow. The experience felt as if we were on a National Geographic Expedition, and one I'll never forget. As for the rest of the cruise we enjoyed live music from the Red Frog Pub with our old friends from the band Alter Idem and special shows that only a Journey Cruise will bring. We ate great food from the Main Dining Room and enjoyed the friendly service form the staff. Looked for ducks and even found Jesus (see video "We're Stuck On This Ship").
