Delhi Horror: On-Duty Traffic Cop Assaulted on Flyover For Stopping Biker | India Today News

A video of an assault on a traffic policeman, Surajpal, near Delhi's Wazirabad flyover on the afternoon of September 24th has gone viral. The incident occurred when the officer, who was conducting checks on the Signature Bridge, stopped a young man for not wearing a helmet. The accused then allegedly assaulted the policeman. When confronted, the man falsely accused the officer of abusing him for being from a certain community. His acquaintances also joined in the assault. The Timarpur police have registered a case and arrested four individuals, identified as Akbar and Salman among others, in connection with the incident.
