The Still LiftRunner® C-Frame for automatic loading and unloading is able to load and unload charge carriers as well as Trolleys with charge carriers automatically. The worker operates and monitors only the loading and unloading process of the the tugger train. Therefore, safety measures are not necessary (elaborate, firmly installed step-in protection in all loading and unloading sections) which would be required for full automatic systems and the flexibility is improved. So far, it is possible to transport loadings of up to 1000 kg per pair of forks without problems and without any force to the desired position. The tugger train with C-Frame requires less time than the forklift to transport twice the amount from the warehouse to the production line. During this it requires less energy and less space for driving on the line than the forklift. In addition, Still tugger trains can be automated. This means that the tugger train is, for example, driven with a magnetic point or a magnetic tape navigation on fixed transport paths.
