Μην προτιμάτε, τις στενές κλειδαριές, η πιο μεγάλες εκτός που ανοίγουμε πιο άνετα, κλειδώνουν 2 φορές σας ευχαριστώ If you ever deside to make a metal door, you'll need to install the door lock mechanism. In this video I show just this. Installing a simple door lock mechanism in a metal frame door. Naturaly the main frame of the door will need to be wide enough to accomodate the mechanism. Personaly I preffer the "No80" mechanisms, meaning it has 80mm width, which provide plenty of space to place the lock and handle away from the face of the door. An added benefit of the "wide" 80mm mechanism is that the locking togue is able to extend a bit further away than the narrow 25mm mechanisms. The whole proceadure is a matter of drawing a few lines with a marker and cutting away the metal pieces. You can cut the straight lines with the angle grinder and make the holes either with a metal hole saw or the welding machine. After cutting and testing that everithing is fitting OK and works, you'll have to remove the lock and continue with the rest of the door construction. After construction, it's allways a good idea to paint the door, just becareful not to paint the mechanism and the key barel. (That's why we remove them in the first place) Simple solutions and simple constructions. In case the door is placed outdoors, you'll need to provide a means of rustproofing. Weather is not a good friend of metal constructions and mechanisms. And that's basicaly the only thing to be careful of. The typical hight of the handle is about a meter from the ground.
